Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join our Firestone Complete Auto Care team.

You will diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform routine maintenance, and support tire and vehicle services in a fast-paced shop environment. You'll receive full-time or part-time benefits from day one, on-the-job training, ASE certifications funded by the company, flexible scheduling, 401(k) matching, and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• “Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.”
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Perform oil changes and scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Road-test vehicles.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is an entry level position in which you will be an integral part of a fantastic team servicing vehicles. Pay Range: $16.64 - $25.99 Bridgestone is committed to fair and lawful compensation practices. All employees receive pay that meets or exceeds the applicable minimum wage requirements.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
