Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking a Quick Lube Technician at Koons Tysons Chevrolet Buick GMC in Tysons, VA. This entry-level role performs basic maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations and inspections, while emphasizing teamwork and safety.

You will work with technicians to ensure vehicles are serviced with quality and efficiency. The position offers weekly pay, hourly wages of $18–$20, paid training, and opportunities for career growth within a large automotive group.

Qualifications

• Entry level technician performing basic maintenance on customer vehicles.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and follow instruction.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, balancing of tires and battery testing.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Complete multi-point inspection forms for each vehicle.
• Use manufacturer training and internal guidance to service vehicles.
• Ensure vehicles are returned in good condition or better.
• Participate in manufacturer training and ongoing education.

The Quick Lube Technician is an entry level technician who is responsible for performing the basic maintenance of customer vehicles.This position requires exceptional teamwork and the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks. This is an hourly paid position.

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, balancing of tires and battery testing
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Makes accurate use of the multi-pointinspection form on each vehicle
• Utilizes product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management
• Takes care to ensure that customer vehicles are returned to them in the same condition or better than when brought in
• Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs and schools.
• Continuously expand your knowledge for new technologies and practice
• Automotive technical school certifications preferred
• Previous experience highly preferred
• Apprenticeship experience a plus
• Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
• Must be at leasteighteen years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have basic tools
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)
