Job summary

U-Pull-&-Pay LLC is seeking a Rack Operator to safely operate and maintain rack systems used to process vehicles for recycling. You will ensure vehicles are drained, secured, and prepared for dismantling while upholding safety and environmental standards.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork in an outdoor industrial setting. Prior experience with hand/power tools and basic automotive knowledge is preferred; bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a “Safety First” culture and environmental stewardship.
  • Operate racks, hand tools, and fixed equipment.
  • Safely secure vehicles on racks and remove fluids, catalytic converters, and designated parts.
  • Inspect and maintain tools and equipment; report needed repairs to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Support vehicle preparation and ensure accurate inventory tracking.
  • Work collaboratively with teammates to meet daily goals.
  • Follow company policies, safety procedures, and dress code (PPE).
  • Commit to standard production hours (Mon–Fri) with occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays.

Your Role

As a Rack Operator, you’ll play an essential part in our production process—safely operating and maintaining rack systems used to process and prepare vehicles for recycling. You’ll ensure vehicles are properly drained, secured, and prepared for dismantling while upholding our safety and environmental standards.

What You’ll Do
