Job summary

Cardinale Automotive Group in Mississippi is seeking a Lube Technician to perform routine maintenance and basic diagnostics. You will drain and refill oil, replace filters, inspect fluids, check tire pressure, and communicate with parts and service advisors to keep vehicles safe and on schedule.

You’ll work in a fast-paced dealership environment, maintain shop cleanliness, handle tools safely, and aid in warranty repairs while providing excellent customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Document and perform work as outlined on repair orders following dealership and factory standards.
• Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount; replace oil and air filters.
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary.
• Check tire pressure and add air if needed.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Keep shop area neat and clean.
• Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes, etc.
• Communicate with Service Advisor so customers are informed of additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
