Job summary

Ken Garff KIA of Avondale is seeking a Sales Lot Technician (Porter) to organize vehicles on the lot, fuel cars, and perform minor maintenance to keep inventory neat and ready for delivery.

The role requires 18+ years, a valid driver's license with a good driving record, a positive attitude, and the ability to read and follow instructions. You will spend most of your time outdoors, handling physical tasks and exposure to the elements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• A valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record, per company standards
• Positive attitude and high energy
• Ability to read and comprehend job-related instructions and information whether electronic or paper-based.
• Be able to accommodate the physical requirements of the role: standing 6-8 hours per day and will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• This role will spend most of the time outdoors and be exposed to the elements.

Responsibilities

• Arrange cars on the lot and ensure lot is neat and orderly
• Fuel cars and perform minor maintenance (e.g., windshield wipers, fluids)
• Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoices
• Inspect vehicles for damage and listed accessories
• Record damages and missing items on delivery receipt
• Assign stock control numbers to cards
• Catalog and store keys
• Deliver sold vehicles to the new-vehicle prep department
• Other duties as assigned
