Job summary

Omeara VW in Thornton, CO seeks entry-level lot technicians to help keep lots organized, photograph vehicles for the website, and support dealership display standards. You’ll be moving cars under the direction of the General Sales Manager and perform related duties as needed.

The role is a great first step into the automotive industry, with opportunities for growth and learning in a family-owned Colorado dealer group.

Qualifications

• Position requires entire shifts standing and walking, bending and reaching.
• Must be at least 18 years or older with three years of good driving history.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Keeps new and used vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the General Sales Manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Takes pictures of cars to put on website.
• Inspects vehicles to detect damage and verify the presence of listed accessories on the invoice.
• Records the description of damages and lists missing items on the delivery receipt.
• Drives vehicles to and from service areas, overflow lots, and parking lot as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

We are a 4th generation, Colorado family owned and operated auto dealer group, including O'Meara Ford, O'Meara Volkswagen and O'Meara Buick GMC, all at I-25 and 104th Ave. We are currently hiring for lot technicians. If you are looking for an entry level position to get your foot in the door for a career in the automotive industry, this position may be for you.

Pay

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
