Job summary

United Access is seeking an Automotive Lot Porter in Houston, TX to support vehicle check-in, lot cleanliness, and preparation for delivery.

You will move and clean vehicles, manage rental vehicles, and assist customers and their wheelchairs on site, with occasional weekend trips to the airport.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, a positive, safety-minded attitude, and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to follow safety policies.
• Some mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Flexible with a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Check in vehicles as they are delivered to the dealership.
• Clean vehicles on the lot.
• Prepare vehicles for delivery to the customer.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dealership.
• Clean and check in rental vehicles.
• Deliver rental vehicles to the airport (may include some weekend trips).
• Pick up customers and/or their wheelchairs.
• Help recondition trade-in vehicles.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by GM Lot Porter/Detailer.
