McGrath Ford in Hiawatha, IA is looking for an Automotive Lot Attendant to join our team. This entry-level role offers hands-on involvement with new and pre-owned vehicles and a clear pathway into an Automotive Sales Consultant role.

You'll work closely with the sales team, learn our inventory, gain exposure to the sales process, and become familiar with how a successful dealership operates. No prior dealership experience is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Dependable, punctual with a consistent work history.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Interest in learning automotive sales and dealership operations.

Responsibilities

• Move, park, stage, and organize inventory.
• Keep the lot neat, professional, and customer-ready.
• Prepare vehicles for display, appointments, and test drives.
• Maintain vehicle appearance and fuel/fluids as needed.
• Assist with inventory, tags, and Buyer’s Guides.
• Help sales consultants locate and prep vehicles for customers.
• Shuttle vehicles between locations as needed.
• Assist with snow removal, lot maintenance, and seasonal needs.
• Collaborate with the sales team and gain exposure to customer interactions.
