Job summary

Banister Ford of Marlow Heights is seeking an Automotive Lot Attendant to keep the vehicle inventory organized, clean, and ready to show, helping create a strong first impression for customers.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to work outside in varying weather, and attention to detail. Candidates should be reliable, punctual, and able to lift up to 25 lbs; dealership experience is a plus but not required. Full-time, on-site position in Marlow Heights, MD.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Move, park, and organize vehicles across the lot in an efficient, logical manner.
• Wash, vacuum, and detail vehicles as needed to maintain showroom‑ready condition.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections (fuel levels, tire pressure, fluid levels).
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles for test drives, service, and customer pickup.
• Assist sales and service teams with vehicle staging and transport.
• Keep the lot, driveways, and display areas clean and free of debris.
• Manage inventory tags, keys, and vehicle paperwork accurately.
• Monitor and report any vehicle damage or maintenance issues.
• Assist with loading/unloading vehicles from transport trucks.
