Job summary

Hertz is seeking an on-site Lot Attendant to manage vehicle flow, inventory and fleet status. You will keep the sales lot presentable with correct pricing and labels, and assist with dealer trades and shuttle duties as needed.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, availability for nights/weekends/holidays, and adherence to overtime rules. Internal candidates must complete probation with good attendance and performance.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 20 years of age.
• Flexibility in scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Control the flow of cars and manage inventory; log new arrivals and set correct status in fleet system.
• Perform lot merchandising: ensure vehicles are front line ready, with proper pricing stickers, buyers guides and frame plates; park and align cars for presentable lot.
• Manage back-overflow lot, shuttle cars to vendors, assist with dealer trades and pick up customers when needed.
• Assist with fuel log and other reports; file reports as requested by Location Manager.
