Job summary

Holler and Classic Family Collection of Dealerships in Columbia, SC is seeking a Line Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards. You will oversee any apprentice and work with the latest Hunter shop equipment while diagnosing and repairing complex systems.

Responsibilities include powertrain diagnostics, electrical systems, A/C service, wiring diagrams, and timely repairs.

Qualifications

• ASE certification preferred; reads and comprehends technical manuals.
• High school diploma required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Background and drug screening acceptable.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Full repairs of vehicle components as assigned.
• Emission diagnostic and repair using shop equipment and diagnostics.
• Power train diagnostics, repair, and rebuild (engine/transmission).
• Diagnose suspensions/brakes and related electrical systems.
• Read and follow wiring diagrams; use shop tech and A/C equipment as needed.
• Repair electrical systems from battery to wiring harnesses.
• Ensure repairs are completed efficiently within time frames.
• Closed on Sundays; support trained service advisors and BDC reps.
• Maintain well-stocked parts inventory and adhere to dispatching policies.
