Job summary

Holler INFINITI Columbia is hiring an Automotive Line Technician to perform comprehensive vehicle repairs and maintenance in a modern shop environment. Join a family-owned dealer group with strong benefits and opportunities for growth.

The Line Technician will oversee apprentices, utilize advanced diagnostic tools, and ensure work meets factory standards. A sign-on bonus is available and benefits include health, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• ASE Certification preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend.
• High School Diploma required.
• Reliable transportation to the workplace.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Background and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Full repairs of any vehicle components.
• Emission diagnostic and repair capabilities using shop equipment.
• Power train diagnostics, repair and rebuild (engine, transmissions, rear ends).
• Diagnose suspension and brake systems, including ABS and related electricals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems including air bags; repair wiring harnesses.
• Knowledge of A/C systems and their repair; use of recovery equipment.
• Read wiring diagrams and operate shop equipment (laptop, A/C machine, brake lathe, alignment).
• Work efficiently to repair vehicles within allocated time.
• Closed on Sundays.
• Trained Service Advisors and BDC Representatives.
• Fair job dispatching.
• Well stocked parts inventory.
