Lithia & Driveway is seeking a Light Duty Technician to perform automotive repairs and service at our Minneapolis location. You will diagnose issues, complete repairs, and road-test vehicles to ensure quality.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and accurate documentation as part of a customer-focused service team. Flat-rate pay with incentives is offered, with a guaranteed base rate and opportunities for variance depending on skills and location.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service and repair.
• Ability to diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs per standards.
• Willingness to complete required training and obtain certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Road-test vehicles to verify quality of repairs.
• Document work performed and test procedures/results.
• Maintain an inventory of standard tools and return special tools to proper places.
• Keep workspace organized and ensure vehicles are clean after service.
• Complete required training and pursue manufacturer/ASE certifications.
