Fury Motors – Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in South St. Paul, MN is hiring an Automotive Light Duty Technician to perform routine maintenance, support the service team, and help customers keep their vehicles running safely.

This full-time, on-site position offers hands-on experience with CDJR vehicles and a chance to grow your automotive career alongside experienced technicians in a family-owned dealership. Hourly pay ranges from $20.60 to $24.62, based on experience and performance.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and an interest in automotive service.
• Some automotive maintenance experience preferred.
• A willingness to learn dealership systems, equipment, and service procedures.
• Attention to detail and pride in completing work correctly.
• Dependability and the ability to work well with a team.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance services.
• Inspect vehicles for safety concerns and maintenance needs.
• Test and replace batteries and complete minor repairs.
• Check and replenish fluids and replace filters.
• Install wiper blades, bulbs, and other small components.
• Accurately document findings in the multipoint inspection system.
• Assist Journeyperson and heavy-duty technicians as needed.
• Help keep express service moving by staging vehicles and coordinating with Service Advisors.
• Support shop cleanup and parts pickup.
• Use tools and equipment properly and follow shop safety procedures.

Schedule & Work Environment

This is a full‑time, on‑site position that may include Saturdays. You’ll work in an active service shop around vehicle lifts, tools, and equipment. The role involves standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, and lifting 25–50 pounds.
