Job summary

Auto Systems Centers in Flint, MI is seeking an Automotive Lead Technician to join our state-of-the-art service and tire center. As a leader in undercar repairs, you will inspect, diagnose, and perform mechanical services while mentoring teammates.

We offer weekly base pay with bonus potential up to $150K, a 5-day work week, 401(k) with match, comprehensive benefits, PTO, ASE certification support, and an employee tool purchase program.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive repair experience or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required; ASE certification is a bonus.
• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift 50+ pounds.
• Team-focused with dependable work ethic in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive services including brakes, suspensions, and routine maintenance.
• Complete state-mandated inspections and oil/filters changes.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Check fluids and replace worn parts.
