Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is hiring a Lead Technician in Nashville, TN. You will diagnose drivability and electrical systems, lead a team, and mentor peers to improve customer care and satisfaction. The position offers flat-rate pay with pay range details and ongoing paid training.

You’ll perform diagnostics, repairs and instruction while pursuing ASE certifications and maintaining essential certifications. A steady, performance-based environment supports growth and skill advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair and suspension/steering systems.
• Able to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills required.
• Willing to pursue ASE certifications with company support.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications including brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Aim to obtain ASE certifications within two years.
