Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Texas seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while mentoring a team to boost customer care and satisfaction. The role features a performance-based flat-rate pay model based on tasks completed and regional earning potential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue and maintain A.S.E. certifications (5 of A1–A8) within two years; tests fees covered by the company; bonuses for passed tests.
