Job summary

CarMax in Oceanside, CA is seeking an Inventory Associate to help ensure smooth customer experiences by accurately logging deliveries and moving vehicles on the lot. You will contribute to maintaining a clean, organized showroom and yard while supporting a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Motivation and attention to detail in a dynamic outdoor environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Comfort working outdoors, including noisy or inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Accurately log and track vehicle deliveries and inventory to maintain operational efficiency.
• Move and position vehicles across the lot to ensure easy customer access and viewing.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment that reflects CarMax’s commitment to excellence.
• Perform vehicle reconditioning tasks such as cleaning, vacuuming, and detailing to meet customer expectations.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to learn best practices for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Follow CarMax EH&S requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
