Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment. Work on light-duty vehicles, commercial trucks, tractors, trailers, and other fleet assets. Perform basic 12V/24V wiring, including power, ignition, ground, diagnostic, and trailer connections. Route and secure wiring for clean, professional installations. Test GPS, cellular connectivity, cameras, sensors, and system functionality. Diagnose electrical, connectivity, and installation issues. Document completed installations with photos, device information, and service notes. Travel to customer and fleet locations for mobile installations and projects. Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and right-first-time installations.
Your automotive experience can be a strong foundation for this role. Candidates with backgrounds in: Automotive repair Automotive electrical Fleet maintenance Diesel/heavy-duty mechanics Vehicle upfitting Mobile service ADAS/diagnostics Telematics or vehicle electronics are encouraged to apply. You don't need to know every telematics system on day one. We’re looking for strong technical aptitude, hands‑on experience, and the ability to learn.
