Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking an automotive-focused analyst to collaborate with global consultants on research and analysis of auto manufacturers, suppliers, and trends including electrification and autonomy. You will help evaluate client strategies, market sizes, and technology approaches while contributing to knowledge infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or similar is required.
• 1+ years professional experience in the automotive sector or related strategy/market research.
• Comfortable using generative AI tools and knowing when to leverage them.
• Excellent organizational capabilities and ability to see tasks through.
• Proficient in data-based decision making and logical reasoning.
• Ability to create outputs such as PowerPoint decks and Excel models.
• Strong time management in a largely autonomous role.
• Willingness to travel and work outside standard hours.
• No immigration sponsorship; must be authorized to work in the U.S.
