Job summary

Midas Granbury is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician to join our full-service shop. You’ll perform maintenance and basic repairs, working independently and with peers when needed, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, safety inspections, tire mounting/balancing, and replacing bulbs/belts/hoses, while keeping the shop clean and organized. We offer advancement opportunities, free uniforms, PTO, and a $15.00–$16.00 per hour wage with performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Entry level technicians must have prior knowledge of automotive basics.
• Knowledge of shop equipment is desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are important.
• Deadline and detail-oriented approach is required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including fluid exchanges and oil changes.
• Visual safety and courtesy inspections.
• Mounting, balancing and rotating tires.
• Changing bulbs, belts and hoses.
• Maintaining and cleaning shop areas.
• Other shop maintenance items as needed.
