Job summary

Christian Brothers Automotive is hiring a General Service Technician / Mechanic Apprentice in Winston-Salem, NC. This full-time role performs oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, and digital vehicle reports, with teamwork and guest-focused service.

The position offers paid vacation/holidays, an air-conditioned/heated shop, performance bonuses, and ongoing training through the CBA Flywheel system with local owner support.

Qualifications

• Must have a current driver’s license in good standing.
• Must have tools that enable you to complete repairs described above.
• Comfortable working with computers and tablets.
• State Vehicle Inspection Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• General Service Technicians / Mechanics perform maintenance and repair services including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, and more.
• Perform state-mandated vehicle emission and safety inspections in accordance with state regulations.
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively.
• Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy digital vehicle inspections.
• Ensure all preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurate.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations affecting service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know.
