Job summary

JAM Best-One Tire and Auto Care in Maumee, OH is seeking qualified automotive technicians to join our team. The role focuses on tire and battery installations, lubrication services, inspections, and other mechanical repairs across car and truck models.

This position is technical and includes company-paid ASE certification training, a strong commitment to safety, a five-day work week, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Stand, kneel, and crawl while operating equipment and tools.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• If under 18, must provide valid work permit and be participating in a Vo-Tech Program.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality tire installations.
• Perform battery installations.
• Conduct lubrication, oil and filter service.
• Follow inspection procedures.
• Carry out various other mechanical repairs.
• Pursue ASE certification as company-paid training.

This position will be accountable for performing quality tire installations; battery installations; lubrication, oil and filter service; inspection procedures; and various other mechanical repairs as required on all makes & models of cars & trucks. This position is technical in nature and requires a large commitment and investment in personal training and development. As you gain knowledge and experience, you will be able to start working towards your A.S.E. Certification (company paid).
