AAA Club Alliance is seeking an Automotive General Service Technician in Fairfield, OH. You will perform tire mounting, balancing, oil changes, fluid services, and general repairs to keep members on the road.

The role offers paid training, ASE certification support, and opportunities for advancement within a long-standing automotive services network. We value accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork as you handle maintenance tasks, document findings, and maintain shop equipment.

Qualifications

• Basic automotive knowledge and maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with PC-based diagnostic tools.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, and install tires.
• Perform maintenance services including oil changes, fluid flush and replacement, belt and hose replacement, battery testing and replacement, and general automotive repairs.
• Conduct visual vehicle inspections and document findings.
• Maintain and clean shop equipment, including draining fluids per shop guidelines.
• Continuously build automotive knowledge and technical skills for career growth.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We Offer

• The base compensation for this position is $16.37 - $23.02/hr. Actual pay will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.
• Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week. Team members are required to work Saturdays as part of their regular schedule. The workweek includes one scheduled day off during the week and Sundays off. Additional schedule adjustments may be made based on business needs and approved time off.
• Training & Growth: Paid training, Paid ASE Certifications & opportunities to advance into higher-level technician roles.

Your Impact As An Automotive General Service Technician

• Mount, balance, and install tires.
• Perform maintenance services including oil changes, fluid flush and replacement, belt and hose replacement, battery testing and replacement, and general automotive repairs.

• Maintain and clean shop equipment, including emptying and servicing portable fluid drains in accordance with shop guidelines.
• Continuously build automotive knowledge and technical skills to support future career growth.

What You’ll Bring

• Basic knowledge of automotive systems; familiarity with PC-based diagnostic tools a plus.
• Prior automotive maintenance or repair experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with the team.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings if offered a position (background, drug, fitness for duty).
