Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Foley, Alabama is seeking a General Service Technician to perform non-technical service repairs such as oil changes, tire services, and wheel work. You will work alongside ASE Certified Technicians and gain the training needed to advance toward ASE certification. This entry-level role offers growth potential in a busy shop.

Compensation ranges from $15 to $18 per hour, depending on experience, with competitive bi-weekly pay, benefits, and an opportunity for advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive experience preferred, but we will consider energetic and hard-working individuals.
• Candidates must be able to work Monday - Saturday.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be deemed an eligible driver through an MVR screening.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their place of residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles following all guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by supervision.
• Notes any obvious repairs or safety concerns for documentation.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and showroom.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisors.
