Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes is seeking full-time General Service Technicians to join Team Mavis at our Douglasville, GA service centers. We offer paid training, competitive weekly pay, and opportunities for career growth within the nation's largest automotive service organization.

You'll perform essential maintenance and tire services, including mounting/dismounting, oil changes, fluid checks, and inspections. Prior automotive experience is a plus, but training is provided on the job.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
