Job summary

Gavin Zickerman Quinton Samuels Operations is hiring an Automotive Forklift Operator for a busy warehouse in Sterling Heights, MI. The role involves safely moving products, loading/unloading trucks, and supporting shipping, receiving, and production operations.

Starting pay is $17.50 per hour, with higher rates on 2nd and 3rd shifts ($18.25 and $19.00 respectively). You must be dependable, safety-minded, and able to lift up to 50 pounds; forklift experience and certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift or material-handling experience is preferred.
• Forklift certification is helpful but may not be required if training is available.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
• Strong awareness of workplace and equipment safety.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team.
• Reliable transportation to the Sterling Heights facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move, stage, and transport materials throughout the facility
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks and trailers
• Deliver materials to appropriate production, warehouse, or storage areas
• Organize and stage products for shipping, production, or inventory
• Complete routine forklift and equipment checks before operation
• Report damaged equipment, safety concerns, or maintenance needs
• Follow established inventory and material-handling procedures
• Always maintain safe operating practices
• Assist with packaging, sorting, staging, and other warehouse responsibilities when necessary
• Keep aisles, workstations, and material storage areas clean and orderly
