Avis Budget Group is hiring for an outdoor Vehicle Processing role in Fort Lauderdale. You will coordinate entry/exit of rental vehicles, perform inspections, and ensure accurate documentation to support fleet accuracy and customer experience.

The role requires hands-on work, attention to detail, and ability to work outdoors. Training is provided, and the position is on-site with potential shift variations.

• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to operate outdoors.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Previous auto service or fleet ops experience is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee entry and exit of vehicles within the rental fleet, including pre-delivery/post-use inspections.
• Prepare newer vehicles for customer rental across multiple makes/models.
• Support vehicle transitions out of the fleet for used car lots or auctions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for fleet operations.

In this role, your work helps ensure vehicles are accurately prepared, documented, and transitioned—supporting both fleet operations and a smooth customer experience.

What You’ll Do:

In this outdoor role, you will oversee the entry and exit of vehicles within our rental fleet. This includes conducting pre-delivery and post-use inspections, installing and removing license plates, coordinating vehicle registration paperwork, stickers, and keys, and ensuring records are accurate and up to date.

You will help prepare newer vehicles across a variety of makes and models for customer rental, as well as support the transition of vehicles out of the fleet for retail used car lots, auctions, or other buyers. You will also support the organized movement and positioning of vehicles throughout the lot to maintain efficient operations.

Your attention to detail and automotive knowledge help ensure vehicles are properly documented, safe, and ready—directly supporting fleet accuracy, vehicle availability, and the overall customer experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Driver’s License


• Strong attention to detail with effective verbal and written communication skills


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word


• Ability to work outdoors or near a mechanical shop with moderate noise levels


• Flexibility to work various shifts


• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles


• Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry


• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States


• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely


• Previous experience in auto service, fleet operations, or vehicle maintenance is a strong advantage
