Job summary

Jones Honda is seeking an Express Automotive Technician to support our service center operations. You will perform routine maintenance and minor repairs while delivering friendly, professional customer service.

The ideal candidate has practical repair experience, familiarity with diagnostic tools, and a valid driver’s license; PA license(s) preferred. Join a team focused on quality workmanship and safety.

Qualifications

• Some practical experience with automotive repair and service is required.
• Proficiency in the use of shop tools.
• Basic computer skills for data entry into Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
• A valid PA Safety Inspection License and PA Emissions Inspector license are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Diagnose and repair minor vehicle issues, such as replacing brake pads and spark plugs.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve more complex vehicle problems.
• Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering any questions and addressing concerns.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently within the scheduled time.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of all work performed on vehicles.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
