Job summary

WeScanNow Inc. is seeking an Automotive Application Engineer to bridge product design engineering and plant-floor vehicle assembly.

You will set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot automotive systems during pilot runs and full production, ensuring base software and hardware calibrations are validated across ECUs at multiple stations. You will diagnose EOL failures and CAN/LIN/Ethernet faults, maintain SOPs, and collaborate with quality, manufacturing, and design teams to resolve variances and ECOs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• 1–4 years in automotive manufacturing, vehicle systems calibration, or plant-floor application engineering.
• Proficiency with vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet).
• Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics and flashing tools (e.g., Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, INCA, ODX/ODIS, or UDS protocols).

Responsibilities

• Line Integration & Flashing: Configure, flash, and validate base software/firmware and hardware calibrations on ECUs across assembly stations.
• Diagnostics & Root-Cause Analysis: Diagnose End-of-Line testing failures, DTCs, and CAN/LIN/Ethernet faults using diagnostic tools.
• Process Standardization: Maintain SOPs, process control plans, and work instructions for flashing, calibration, and test routines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with plant quality, manufacturing, and design engineering teams to resolve variances and ECOs.
• Launch & Ramp-Up Support: Lead pre-series vehicle testing, line trials, and software baseline rollouts during new model launches.
