Job summary

LKQ Corporation in Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join our Processing Department, where vehicles are dismantled safely and efficiently according to current standards.

Starting pay is $19 per hour. Responsibilities include assisting dismantlers, learning the system of dismantling, tagging and storing parts, and following supervisor instructions in a hazard‑free workplace.

Qualifications

• Background in body repair, mechanical, or dismantling experience.
• May be required to have own set of tools.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dismantler/Trainer with dismantling vehicles.
• Learn and perform the system of dismantling, tagging and storing parts.
• Work with Engine Dismantlers to learn engine dismantling.
• Comply with safety standards to ensure a safe workplace.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
