Job summary

Crown Buick GMC is seeking an EXPERIENCED Automotive Diesel Service Technician for our Service Department in Saint Petersburg, FL. You will diagnose and repair diesel systems on a range of vehicles, using OEM tools and factory procedures.

• Diesel service experience required; mechanic should be proficient with diesel systems.

• Manufacturer certifications or ASE credentials are a plus.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered vehicles in a fast-paced shop.
• Perform electrical and engine diagnostics using OEM tools and scanners.
• Participate in factory training and pursue certifications for career growth.

Basic credentials for the Automotive Diesel Service Technician position include:

• Automotive DIESEL service technician experience a MUST!
• Commitment to be the best automotive service technician in the business
• Devotion to your work as a career
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Manufacturer and/or ASE certifications, a plus
• Automotive technical school graduate, a plus

Additional Requirements Include:

• Valid, Clean Driver's License for at least three years
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screen
