Responsibilities

• Duplicate, diagnose and repair diesel vehicles including electrical systems, engine, transmission, suspension, braking and emissions systems.
• Use shop and diagnostic equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
• Diagnose issues based on experience, analysis and testing.
• Complete repair orders accurately and inspect vehicles for safety concerns.
• Communicate with Service Advisors and follow management directions.

We are seeking a highlyskilled Diesel Technician for our shop. Several years of diesel andgas engine experience is preferred. Dealership experience is alsopreferred. The qualified candidate, above all, must demonstrateintegrity, attention to detail, and be accurate and efficientwhen performing work as outlined on repair orders.

Other duties include:

• Duplicate, diagnose andrepair full range of automotive service issues found onDIESEL vehicles including those of all electrical systems,engine, transmission, suspension, braking system and emission systems
  
• Use shop equipment anddiagnostic equipment with confidence and in accordance withall safety procedures
  
• Expertly diagnoseissues based upon experience, analysis and testing
  
• Possess an increasinglybroad knowledge of how DIESEL vehicles' components work and interact
  
• Perform routine serviceinspections, test, and lubricate engines and other major components
  
• Know and adhere tosafety and environmental standards for maintenance/repairfacilities and maintain a clean and safe working environment
  
• Communicate withService Advisors
  
• Accurately completerepair orders and inspect diesel vehicles for safety concerns
  
• Other items as deemednecessary by management

Requirements
