Carter Myers Automotive is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across a full range of vehicles. You will document work accurately and uphold safety and shop standards.

This role emphasizes strong mechanical and electrical skills and a commitment to quality workmanship. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and a VA State Inspector License.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license (required).
• VA State Inspector License (required).
• Experience in Automotive Technology or dealership service departments preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine automotive maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, inspections).
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, from minor to major.
• Document all work performed accurately.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain shop standards.
• Collaborate with team members to support workflow and customer satisfaction.
