Job summary

Main Street Auto in Maryville, TN is seeking a skilled B Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high-quality results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational automotive training preferred.
• Proven experience as technician or mechanic in automotive field.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment for mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Valid driver''s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical problems and propose fixes.
• Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments on engines, brakes, and steering.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and recommend repairs.
• Coordinate with team to schedule repairs and ensure workflow.
• Document repairs and parts used accurately.
• Follow safety guidelines and keep workspace clean.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
• Provide professional customer service addressing inquiries.
• Maintain tools and workspace organized.
