Job summary

Andy Mohr Automotive Group in Merrillville, IN is seeking an experienced Auto Technician to perform repair work per service orders. You will test-drive vehicles, diagnose components with diagnostic tools, and repair systems including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical.

Clear communication with the Service Advisor about additional work and timing is essential. The position emphasizes warranty repairs to manufacturer specs, teamwork, and delivering efficient service while maintaining

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
Fast learner and capable of working efficiently.
Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Perform repair work listed on the service order efficiently.
Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using tools.
Diagnose and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, brakes, etc.).
Communicate with Service Advisor about additional work and time estimates.
Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
