Absolute Auto is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic for Port Matilda, PA. Join a family-owned shop expanding to meet demand and deliver top-notch service. The role requires diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, and ensuring quality repairs with attention to detail.

You will work a 4-day week (Tue–Fri, 7am–6pm) with a lunch break, in a full-time position around 40 hours weekly. Production bonuses and paid time off are offered after probation, with other benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must diagnose vehicle problems accurately and provide written recommendations.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience: 5+ years as automotive mechanic/technician.
• ASE certifications or equivalent expected.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and recommend repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance (oil, tires, fluids).
• Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions efficiently.
• Diagnose electrical issues and read wiring diagrams.
• Test drive vehicles after repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Keep detailed notes and records of all work performed.
