Job summary

SL Tennessee in Clinton, TN seeks an experienced program manager to lead automotive product launches from quote to SORP. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage scope, cost, and timing, and drive Lean and VA/VE initiatives in a high-volume supplier environment.

Key qualifications include 3+ years launching automotive products and 5+ years in an automotive supplier plant, a college degree, and PMP preferred. Fluent English; Korean 50% is noted as a requirement in some roles.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience launching automotive products; mirror/exterior preferred.
• 5 years minimum working experience in an automotive supplier manufacturing facility.
• Completed college degree or equivalent work experience.
• Current PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, cost, and timing of new projects as subject matter expert for lighting commodity.
• Manage technical direction of activities to meet customer and internal targets.
• Develop and review tooling and sourcing assumptions to support new customer RFQs.
• Lead product development activities to meet internal Gate Review targets.
• Support engineering and costing teams in cost models, equipment planning, and supplier capacity planning.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen events and VA/VE activities.
• Support industrialization of tools into plant operation.
• Support design and development of PFMEA, Control Plan and Flow Chart.
• Manage APQP activities with cross functional team and provide updates.
• Support customer requirements and requests through team local PM roles.
