Job summary

Rogers Toyota of Hermiston, a family-owned dealership, is seeking full-time Automotive Detailers to support our new detailing center. Qualifications

• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable safe driving record.
• Training and mentoring provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and refurbish new and used automobiles.
• Wash vehicle exterior, using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes.
• Apply wax to auto body, and wipe or buff surface to protect surface and preserve shine.
• Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces with cleaning agents and devices.
• Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics.
• Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and cleaning agents.
• Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials as needed.
• Paint engine components and related parts, using spray or touch-up.
• Apply dyes and reconditioning chemicals to vinyl tops to restore color.
• Polish scratches and retouch with enamel.
• Clean and vacuum vehicle interiors and exteriors.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments.
