Job summary

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated Automotive Detailer for a full-time role in Illinois. The position pays $16 per hour on a 40-hour schedule and is located at one of our Metro East Illinois branches. Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing and preparing vehicles for rental, with opportunities to contribute to high cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in past 3 years.
• Authorized to work in the United States and not require work sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior - including cars, trucks and vans.
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; clear prior customer data and collect items for Lost & Found; verify registration.
• Check fluid levels and tire condition; inspect vehicle exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicle.
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report any warning lights or damage; pull vehicle from prep as needed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe conditions.
• Operate cleaning tools to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed and may transport them to/from branches.
• Maintain overall site appearance including interiors/exteriors of branch locations.
• Site appearance tasks: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, sweeping the lot and related duties.

Schedule and Locations

The schedule available is 40 hours per week. Candidates should be available to work at one of the following locations:

You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

Responsibilities

We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior - this might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights: inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle setting to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of the prep processing as necessary
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assists customers when needed. May transport customers to and from the branches
• Helps maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations
• Site appearance responsibilities to include: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and any other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the branch location

• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
