Job summary

White’s Honda Toyota of Lima is seeking an Automotive Detailer for our growing Service Department. The successful candidate will clean and refresh vehicle exteriors and interiors, including vacuuming, conditioning surfaces, and treating fabrics. You will work with cleaning agents and steam-cleaning equipment to remove grease and grime.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive experience.
• Ability to read, interpret and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Wash vehicle exterior, using cleaning solution, wax, water, cloths, and brushes
• Clean and vacuum interior or vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris
• Revitalize agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals
• Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents
• Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials following product manufacturer recommendations
