Job summary

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible Auto Detailer to join our team in Suffolk, VA. This full-time position pays $18 per hour based on a 40-hour week and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Primary duties include washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles for customer rentals at our Suffolk location. Responsibilities also cover maintaining cleanliness of the site, assisting customers as needed, and upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver''s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related violations on driving record in the past 3 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have at least six months of prior work/organizational experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle exterior; handle different sizes including cars, trucks, and vans.
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; clear prior data; verify registrations.
• Check fluid levels; inspect tires; look for exterior damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicle.
• Inspect for safety issues and report as needed; pull vehicle from prep as necessary.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and report hazards.
• Operate carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches.
• Maintain overall site appearance including interior and exterior cleaning of the branch.
• Site appearance tasks: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, and lot cleanliness.

• Monday: 7:00am-6:00pm
• Tuesday: 7:00am-6:00pm
• Wednesday: 7:00am-1:00pm
• Thursday: OFF
• Friday: 7:00am-6:00pm
• Saturday: 8:00am-12:00pm

You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior - this might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights: inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle setting to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of the prep processing as necessary
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assists customers when needed. May transport customers to and from the branches
• Helps maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations
• Site appearance responsibilities to include: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and any other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the branch location
