Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• The ability to operate a motor vehicle with a valid, unrestricted US driver's license.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Must live within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour from Monroe, CT.
• Must have at least six consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle exterior; handle cars, vans, and trucks alike.
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; reset/restore vehicle settings to clear data; secure valuables.
• Check fluid levels and tire condition; inspect exterior for damage; ensure safe operation of vehicles.
• Fuel and stage vehicles.
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns and report issues; pull vehicle from prep if needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report hazards.
• Operate cleaning tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains and odors.
• Assist customers when needed and may shuttle customers to and from branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance including interior and exterior cleaning.
• Site duties include desks, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and general daily cleanliness.

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full time Automotive Detailer. The starting rate of pay is $17.50 / hour based on a 40 hour workweek. Employees can earn yearly merit increases based on performance. The current maximum rate of pay for this position is $19.50 / hour. This position is located at 75 Main St. Monroe, CT 06468.

• Monday: 7:00am-6:15pm (1-hr break)
• Tuesday: 7:30am-6:15pm (1-hr break)

• Saturday: 8:45am-1:15pm

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry‑standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior – this might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights: inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle setting to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of the prep processing as necessary
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assists customers when needed. May transport customers to and from the branches
• Helps maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations
• Site appearance responsibilities to include: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and any other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the branch location
