Job summary

Enterprise Mobility in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a full-time Automotive Detailer to wash, sanitize, and prepare a variety of vehicles for customer rentals. The role includes exterior washing, interior cleaning, and ensuring safety standards are met.

You will follow health and safety practices, operate cleaning equipment, and assist customers as needed. The schedule includes Sundays and weekdays with occasional time-off.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record in past 3 years.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to standard protocols.
• Wash, clean and dry exterior surfaces of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans.
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield and remove items to Lost & Found; verify registration.
• Check fluid levels, tire condition, and exterior for damage; address safety concerns as needed.
• Fuel and stage vehicles for rental readiness.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; report hazards.
• Operate cleaning tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers.
• Assist customers when needed and may transport customers to/from branches.
• Support site appearance including interior/exterior cleaning of branch locations.

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full time Automotive Detailer. This position pays $16 / hour based on a 40 hour workweek and is located at 1800 Dodge Rd NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402.

The schedule available is:

• Sunday: 10:00am - 4:00pm
• Monday: 9:00am - 6:30pm
• Tuesday: OFF
• Wednesday: 9:00am - 6:30pm
• Thursday: 9:00am - 6:30pm
• Friday: 9:00am - 6:30pm
• Saturday: OFF

You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

Responsibilities

We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior - this might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights: inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle setting to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of the prep processing as necessary
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assists customers when needed. May transport customers to and from the branches
• Helps maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations
• Site appearance responsibilities to include: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and any other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the branch location

• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
