Job summary

Mills Automotive Group is seeking a detailer to thoroughly clean and restore the appearance of vehicles, inside and out. The role covers washing, vacuuming, waxing, polishing, interior deep-cleaning, stain removal, and protective treatments.

Candidates should show high attention to detail, quality workmanship, and effective communication, with the ability to work independently. The position runs Monday through Friday with a rotating Saturday, paying $16.00–$17.00+ per hour.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive experience is a plus, though it is not required.
• We have training opportunities available for those willing to grow.
• Candidates must be passionate about working in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, shampooing and steam cleaning carpets, upholstery and interior surfaces.
• Washing, drying, waxing, polishing and applying protective agents to the exterior.
• Performing minor cosmetic paint or trim touch-ups.
• Inspecting vehicles for issues to be addressed by a technician.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Description

This position is responsible for thoroughly cleaning and restoring the appearance of vehicles, both inside and out. This includes washing, vacuuming, waxing, polishing, and deep-cleaning interiors, as well as removing stains and applying protective agents. Qualified candidates must possess high attention to detail, high quality workmanship, effective communication, and the ability to work independently and productively.

Duties and services may include, though are not limited to:

• Vacuuming, shampooing, and steam cleaning carpets, upholstery, and other interior surfaces. Removing all stains, dirt, and grime from all interior areas.
• Washing, drying, waxing, polishing, and applying protective agents to the car's exterior.
• Performing minor cosmetic repairs such as touch-ups on paint or trim.
• Inspecting vehicles for any damage or issues that need to be addressed by a technician.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Prior automotive experience is a plus, though it is not required. We have outstanding training opportunities available to those willing to grow. Candidates must be passionate about working in the exciting Automotive industry!

The workdays for this position are Monday through Friday, with a rotational Saturday. Our facilities are always closed on Sunday, and on designated Holidays throughout the year.

The starting hourly pay rate range for this position is $16.00 – $17.00+ and will be evaluated based upon relevant skills, training, experience, education and other job-related factors permitted by law.
