Job summary

Crossroads Ford of Waynesville in Waynesville, NC is seeking a Full Time Vehicle Lot Attendant to keep inventory ready for delivery and display. You will check in vehicles from transports, clean them for customers, and maintain clean, orderly exterior areas of the dealership.

Responsibilities include ensuring proper display, reporting damages, coordinating with sales staff on promotions, and updating stock stickers so lots stay organized and ready for auction or sale.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license.
• Successfully pass drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check.

• Report any vehicle or property damage to management.
• Keep all new and used vehicles rotated and lined up for display.
• Move all units according to sales specials and weekend promotions for display.
• Keep all stock units on line and out of cleanup area or service area.
• Keep stock stickers current on all units.
• Write info on drivers door glass for all wholesale units and park in wholesale area ready for auction.
• Advise sales manager of any new or preowned unit that needs attention (ex: scratch, flat tire, dings).
• Maintain the inventory in terms of presentation, lot position, and vehicle readiness.

• (fuel level, cleanliness, battery charge levels, Buyers Guide, Window Stickers, Etc.
• Minor Property Maintenance as needed (grounds keeping, light bulb replacement, etc)
