Job summary

Xcite Automotive is seeking an Automotive Senior Detailer for our partner dealers in Chantilly, Virginia. The Senior Detailer will lead interior and exterior detailing, mentor junior team members, and ensure vehicles meet client standards in a fast-paced shop.

The role requires eye for detail, physical stamina, and reliable transportation. You should have 2+ years of detailing experience, expertise in buffing and paint correction, and a track record of productive performance in dealership

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional automotive detailing experience.
• Strong experience with buffing, polishing, and paint correction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
• Comfortable with physical labor (standing, bending, lifting, moving vehicles).
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles.
• High attention to detail and consistency in quality.
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced interior and exterior detailing (wash, clay bar, buffing, polishing, waxing, shampooing, stain removal).
• Execute paint correction techniques (compounding, polishing, swirl removal).
• Conduct final quality control inspections to ensure vehicles meet client standards.
• Safely move and stage vehicles across dealership or lot environments.
• Train and support junior detailers on processes, efficiency, and quality expectations.
• Maintain proper use of chemicals, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure daily production goals and turnaround times are met.
• Follow all company safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding workflow, delays, or issues.
