Job summary

Findlay is seeking an automotive detailer to join our service team in the Southwest U.S. This role focuses on thorough cleaning and finishing of vehicles to meet customer specifications.

The ideal candidate will have automotive detailing experience, the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and hold a valid driver’s license. Training is provided as part of our comprehensive benefits package and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive detailing experience required.
• Physically able to stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Wash exterior and interior of vehicles according to customer requests.
• Shampoo and vacuum interior including seats, rugs, trunk, and roof.
• Wax and buff vehicles using cloths and buffing machines.
• Vacuum and clean upholstery, surfaces; dry with cloths; apply preservation chemicals.
• Apply dyes, paints and waxes to protect leather or fabric.
• Clean grease from engines or engine compartments.

Responsibilities

• Wash the exterior and interior of a vehicle according to the customer's wishes.
• Shampoo & vacuum interior (seats, rugs, trunk, roof)
• Wax and buff vehicles using cloths and buffing machines.
• Vacuum to remove dirt and debris, clean upholstery and surfaces, use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals to surfaces for protection against spots and stains.
• Apply dyes, paints and waxes to protect the leather or fabric of vehicles.
• Cleaning and removing any grease on engines or engine compartments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive detailing is required.
• Physical duties include: standing for extended hours, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, etc.
• Valid driver's license is required.
