GLS in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a detailer to clean, inspect, and prepare vehicles to showroom quality. You will work with a team to ensure every vehicle meets high cosmetic standards and is ready for delivery.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with weekends off, competitive pay starting at $19.00/hour, weekly and on-demand pay, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• 1–3 years of automotive detailing experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Able to stand, bend, and work on feet for long shifts.

Responsabilités

• Vacuum, wash, and detail the interior and exterior of vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure cosmetic quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with Quality Inspection to address concerns.
• Record time worked on each vehicle and keep area clean.
• Coordinate with teammates to meet production deadlines.
• Support with special projects as needed.

What You'll Be Doing

• Vacuum, wash, and detail the interior and exterior of vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure they meet cosmetic quality standards.
• Work closely with the Quality Inspection team to address cosmetic concerns.
• Record time worked on each vehicle.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Coordinate with teammates to ensure production deadlines are met.
• Assist with special projects and additional tasks as needed.
• Take pride in delivering vehicles that exceed customer expectations.

What We're Looking For

• You're at least 18 years old.
• You have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• You have a 1-3 years of automotive detailing experience.
• You have reliable transportation and a consistent work history.
• You have excellent attention to detail and take pride in producing high-quality work.
• You're comfortable working on your feet, inside vehicles, and using detailing equipment and cleaning products throughout the day.
• You can meet the company's background check and drug screen requirements.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
