Job summary

Dan Cummins Auto Group is seeking a thorough Vehicle Detail Technician to clean vehicles to company standards and note vehicle conditions. You will use buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other tools to deliver high-quality detailing and maintain records of each vehicle.

The role requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and the ability to work weekends in a non-temperature-controlled environment. A valid license and HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid state driver’s license with good driving record and drug screen.
• Valid full driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Attention to detail with strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands (walking, crouching, bending, standing).
• Willingness to follow policies and uphold service standards.
• Weekend availability in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean interiors and exteriors per company standards.
• Operate buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums and equipment to meet expectations.
• Apply cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to vehicle surfaces.
• Perform inspections and keep accurate records of vehicle condition.
• Move and park vehicles of various sizes and deliver to correct locations.

Vehicle Detail Technicianwill clean vehicles according to company standards, which may include performing detail inspections, thoroughly washing, buffing, and waxing exteriors, vacuuming, steaming, and deodorizing interiors, and keeping records related tothe vehicle. You should possess strong team workingskills and be familiar with the tools and agents used to clean and maintain vehicles.You should be courteous, responsible, and detail-oriented. Vehicle Detail TechnicianResponsibilities:

• Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards
• Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations.
• Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles.
• Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition.
• Moving and parking vehicles of all sizes, delivering vehicles to the correct locations

Vehicle Detail TechnicianRequirements:
